A few months back, I made my love a pie!  He wasn't home, so I semi-surprised him (he knew I was baking, but didn't know what) with a peach pie with vanilla almond crumble.  I think I put in too much nutmeg, but he ever so graciously stuffed his face and loved it.

What he didn't know was that I almost set the fire alarm off and nearly smoked out his dogs.  DETAILS!

Ah, my first Brooklyn homage post.  This morning I decided to take a walk and pick up some breakfast.  About 10 minutes down the road from me is a place called Jimmy's Diner.  It's ridiculous.  Excellent friend chicken and comfort food.  Healthy?  Hell no.  But quite good.  I took home pulled pork hash with 2 fried eggs.  Feeling like a bit of a porker, but this mess was delicious.

Surprise Party Cupcakes!

So about 2-3 weeks ago, I made some lemon cupcakes for a friend of mine who was throwing a surprise party.  My roomie/cousin Noie watched me make them.  I taught her how to make buttercream icing but my dearest Noie was only in it to lick the spoon. Alas..we had a fabulous time.

Business Cards?

A few weeks ago, my business cards were sent to me from Moo.com (AWESOME SITE), and I love them!  The font is a little small....so I'm discriminating against the old, according to a few people. Moral of the story, don't get old. 

I'm thinking about bringing the cards out this weekend and littering every bar/eatery I walk into.  As a matter of fact, I WILL.
